To Win His Wayward Wife by Rose Gordon
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I received a review copy from the author in exchange for my honest review.
Madison, oh how I love thee! I adore Brooke and even cranky Liberty, but it’s spunky Madison who stole my heart and made me wish that her story would go on and on and on…
Madison is all the things you love -and even dislike – about Brooke and Liberty. She’s stubborn, feisty, sweet, compassionate, crude, blunt, pigheaded and the funniest of the three sisters. Her husband annoyed me during Brooke’s story, but you learn fully what happened to make him do what he did – and you fall in love with him for it while thinking him an idiotic male.
I had a hard time putting my Kindle down while reading this and even tweeted a few times to let Ms. Gordon know I forgave her for Liberty because Madison’s story completely won me over. Hmm, I’ve said that a few times already, haven’t I?
This book is absolutely captivating and will have you forgetting about chores and bedtimes and responsibilities as you stay up until the wee hours of the morning giggling over how naive and dumb Regency era men and women could really be at times.
